           What to Expect on a Sunset Tour

There’s nothing quite like ending the day on the water with Winedown Charters, where a sunset sail becomes a truly unforgettable experience. As the boat glides across the calm ocean, the sky slowly transforms into shades of gold, pink, and deep orange, creating the perfect backdrop to relax and unwind. Whether you’re sharing the evening with friends, celebrating something special, or simply taking time for yourself, a sunset sail with Winedown Charters offers the ideal blend of beauty, comfort, and coastal charm.

We pick up passengers at the visitor dock in front of the Jolly Roger.  The tour will begin with a quick chat from the Captain who will advise about the safety features of the vessel.   Weather permitting  we will head out to sea.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time to allow for smooth boardings

Dress: We recommend that you dress in layers.  The temperatures on the water accompanied by the breeze can be chilly at times.  Also make sure to wear comfy shoes, preferable with lighter soles, as to not to mark up the boat.

The boat is covered with a dodger and bimini for lots of shade but its always a good idea to bring SPH sun screen.  Please do not bring spray on sunscreen if possible, as it damages the fiberglass. Sunglasses and hat are also highly recommended.

Please bring your own  food and beverages. For safety reasons, any beverage brought in a glass will have to be poured into a plastic cup.

No drugs or smoking allowed on board

Life vests will be on board and available for those who wish to wear them. All passengers under the age of 12 are required to wear a life vest while underway.

Seasickness is not fun and can ruin your perfect day on the water, so plan ahead with seasick medication such as Dramamine or Bonine the night before and the day of.  Ginger is also a very nice natural supplement. If you find yourself seasick on the cruise, make your way to the front of the boat where there is breeze and cast your gaze out on the horizon.
